Gregory Black is a Consultant based in the City of Pomona, California, a suburb in Los Angeles County and is the Principal at G.Black Consulting Inc. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee State University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance Emphasis) from the University of Southern California. As a Director at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power in the Financial Services Organization, he has been responsible for managing Budget, Rates, Financial Planning, Strategic Planning, Energy Efficiency and Automatic Meter Infrastructure. During his tenure, he has overseen successful Budget Proposals, Rate Actions, Wireless Meter Installations and Efficiency Programs. He has also communicated and worked effectively with the Los Angeles City Council, Mayor’s Office and Customer Oversight Groups. In addition, as an Electrical Engineer, he has managed the installation of many Distribution Projects.
